As a BoxLunch Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll play a vital role in our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing the best customer experience, ensuring that fellow fans can get their hands on the merchandise they love. You’ll leverage your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits and support the management team in daily operations and meeting sales targets. Pay range starting at $10.75/hr - $12.40/hr. Please note that the pay range for this position starts as listed, but final salary will be determined based on factors such as education, location, meeting minimum job requirements, training, and experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO

Provide an exceptional shopping experience to encourage customer loyalty. Use your product knowledge, customer service skills, and fandom enthusiasm to impress. Support store operations by stepping in when needed, including covering the sales floor and providing leadership support. Assist with opening and closing the store as needed, ensuring proper procedures are followed. Process sales transactions at the register, utilizing your fandom knowledge to promote add-on sales and benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup. Also, manage register closures and communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager. Understand store sales plans, goals, and KPIs such as UPT and ADT. Assist with planogram changes, store layout, and merchandising setups. Communicate fashion trend information to management and HQ partners. Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry. Help maintain organized stock rooms and a tidy store environment. Contribute to building a collaborative, passionate team to run the store effectively. Perform any other activities assigned by your Store Leader. WHAT YOU'LL NEED

At least 1 year of retail experience. Passion for philanthropy and pop culture is a plus! Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and team development. You must be at least 18 years old to join the fandom force. A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
