Position Overview The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations across all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, in-room dining, banquets, and culinary functions. This hands-on leadership role ensures both front-of-house and back-of-house teams deliver a seamless, luxury guest experience aligned with Crescent Hotels & Resorts and Marriott brand standards. The ideal candidate will be a visible leader on the floor, fostering teamwork, driving service excellence, and ensuring consistent operational and financial performance. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Oversee daily F&B operations across multiple outlets, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with health, safety, and brand standards
Partner with the Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations, timely food delivery, and exceptional quality
Monitor outlet readiness, cleanliness, and service standards across restaurants, bar, IRD, and banquet facilities
Team Leadership & Training Recruit, train, and develop F&B team members to deliver luxury-level service
Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and ongoing skills training
Act as a mentor and leader on the floor, modeling service excellence and maintaining visibility during peak hours
Address performance issues fairly and constructively in partnership with HR and senior leadership
Guest Experience Anticipate and respond to guest needs with professionalism and empathy
Manage guest feedback and service recovery with a solution-focused approach
Collaborate with Guest Relations and Front Office teams to coordinate VIP amenities and special requests
Financial & Administrative Support budgeting, scheduling, payroll validation, and purchasing functions
Monitor labor productivity and contribute to cost-control initiatives
Assist in planning and execution of promotions, seasonal events, and special programs
Qualifications Minimum 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or upscale food & beverage operations
Strong knowledge of both FOH service and BOH culinary operations
Proven leadership with a hands-on, team-oriented approach
Experience working in a unionized environment is required
Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills
ServSafe and/or TIPS Certification preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Proficiency with POS and hotel systems (MICROS, Opera, or similar)
