About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Facilities with a strong background in structural engineering and extensive experience in managing facility construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, programming, and execution of capital improvements to meet the company's strategic objectives. This includes the development and implementation of project planning and programming processes, as well as the execution and monitoring of capital improvement and facilities sustainment projects. The role involves managing a large team of over 100 personnel, maintaining a significant amount of retail and hospitality space, and overseeing a substantial capital improvement portfolio. The Vice President will also be involved in global in-house construction and will be the principal liaison with Navy installations and regions to resolve facilities sustainment and host/tenant issues.
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in structural engineering. The role requires a combination of education and experience that demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying professional engineering. Specialized experience in managing facility construction projects, including design, planning, budget management, and project execution, is essential. The Vice President will be expected to have a Secret Security Clearance and be adept at coordinating with senior-level personnel, both within the company and at the Navy and DoD levels. The position demands a strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement programming processes, and resource models, and to ensure that capital improvement projects align with the company's goals.
