About the Role
The Company is seeking a Credit Risk Vice President to join their Diversified Industries team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the credit origination and portfolio management of non-investment grade and leveraged companies. This includes structuring new lending activities, analyzing and approving credit requests, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role also involves developing a comprehensive understanding of the business, financial, competitive, and industry risks associated with the client portfolio. The Vice President will work in close partnership with various product teams to meet client needs and will be expected to mentor and develop junior talent within the team.
Applicants must have a BA/BS degree, with a minimum of 5 years' commercial or investment banking lending experience, including a strong background in credit, structuring, and marketing. A solid understanding of financial products, corporate finance, financial modeling, and market dynamics is essential, as is advanced knowledge of financial statements and accounting. Experience with credit agreement documentation and derivative products is also required. The ideal candidate will have an MBA, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact with key stakeholders. The role demands the capability to perform due diligence, negotiate with clients, and manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
