Review and analyze applications for light aviation insurance coverage under supervision. Assist in gathering and verifying information on aircraft, pilots, and operations. Evaluate risk factors and determine eligibility for coverage in accordance with company guidelines. Prepare quotes, binders, and policy documents for review by senior underwriters. Communicate with brokers, agents, and clients to obtain additional information and clarify coverage needs. Maintain accurate records and documentation in underwriting systems. Participate in training and development programs to build underwriting knowledge and skills. Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in aviation insurance.
