Position: Mid-Level Software Engineer (SWE)
Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our intel team. The SWE develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems, including processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems. Responsibilities include reviewing and testing software components, resolving software issues, and providing input on system design including hardware/software trade-offs and the use of COTS/GOTS solutions. Qualifications: TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Minimum 14 years of experience as a Software Engineer in similar scope projects Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4 additional years of SWE experience in lieu of degree 14 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in similar projects Experience with SPLUNK: architecture, deployment, and administration
Required Skills:
Proficiency with databases: Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, Postgres Experience creating and maintaining bash scripts for database management Familiarity with Linux software installation, RedHat Ansible, Active Directory, Salt, NxLog, SALTSstack, Wazuh, NIFI, PKI certificates, nLyte, NEO, Rancher/Docker, Kubernetes, GIT, Vcenter/Vsphere Ability to automate data flows and configure containerized applications
