Full-time A state-of-the-art healthcare facility located in a county of Maryland, serving a population of more than 233,000, is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. The practice is based in the hospital and provides pain management services to their own patients as well as patients in the hospital, especially in the oncology/hospice department. Requirements include a minimum of 1 year of experience in any type of pain management, Maryland licensure, and DEA certification to prescribe controlled substances. This is a full-time, 40-hour/week position with rotating on-call duties, which usually involve taking phone calls at home from nurses consulting about patients' medications.
