Job Description
Responsibilities Code and perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements. Develop, test, debug, and enhance software applications. Write programs based on specifications from senior staff or business analysts. Create technical documentation. Resolve issues with existing production applications promptly to ensure proper functioning. Collaborate with technical staff to understand and troubleshoot software problems. Generate complex reports and data using database management and data extraction techniques. Provide system analysis and feedback to users and management. Improve software system efficiency through implementation, monitoring, testing, and auditing. Daily Tasks Design and develop software modules. Perform unit and integration testing. Must-Haves Minimum of 5 years of web application development experience using Microsoft VB .Net, C#, and SQL Server. Hands-on experience with: Object-oriented design and programming, including design patterns. XML and XSLT. Code troubleshooting and testing. Developing Web Forms, MVP, MVC, MVVM, SPA applications. Team collaboration. Understanding of SDLC. Business Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Preferred Skills
IBM MQ experience. Development of client-side applications (Desktop, Console, Windows Services). Experience with IBM Rational ClearCase, Microsoft SourceSafe, or TFS. Migration experience from Classic ASP & .Net 1.1 to newer .Net versions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio, Open Source Web Technologies, Cloud Platforms, SOA, and Entity Framework.
