Position Summary
We are seeking a board-certified Cardiologist to serve as a Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I). The Cardiologist will oversee patient safety, ensure adherence to study protocols, and collaborate with the research team to advance cardiovascular treatments.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as PI or Sub-I on assigned cardiology clinical trials.
Conduct participant evaluations, physical exams, and assess eligibility.
Monitor safety, adverse events, and treatment outcomes.
Review and sign study documentation according to protocol and regulations.
Collaborate with coordinators, nurses, and research staff.
Attend protocol training and maintain compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Qualifications
MD or DO with an active California medical license.
Board-certified in Cardiology.
Interest in clinical research (experience preferred; training provided if needed).
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
