We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in Florida, beginning Sep 29, 2025. This role offers a Monday through Thursday schedule, with shifts from 9am to approximately 1:30pm or 2pm, serving a veteran-based patient population. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing and refilling pain medications, possess a good bedside manner, and be adept at overseeing medication monitoring within a collaborative care team. Job Details Location: Florida Start Date: Sep 29, 2025 LOA: 96 days Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Physician Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 9am - (1:30pm/2pm) Responsibilities and Duties Conduct patient visits, review medical charts, and assess medication efficacy Oversee and manage pain medication regimens, including refills Collaborate with staff on pill counts and medication monitoring using e-force and Practice Fusion Review laboratory results and patient charts to inform medication management Order and send medications as appropriate Ensure accurate documentation in Practice Fusion EMR Deliver care with a focus on the needs of a veteran-based clientele Additional Information Active Florida medical license required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required Good bedside manner essential Experience with Practice Fusion EMR preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
