Non-Invasive CardiologistLocation: Robbinsdale, Minnesota Position Type: Full-Time or Part-TimeSetting: Outpatient + Inpatient (with Outreach Travel) Position Highlights
- Employment with a smaller, independent organization offering strong provider autonomy
- Outpatient clinic locations: Robbinsdale, Maple Grove, and outreach sites (must be open to travel)
- Inpatient consult service (no direct admissions; hospitalists handle admissions)
- Call Schedule:
- Non-Invasive Cardiology call rotation Q7
- Weeknights: 5:00 PM - 8:00 AM
- Weekends: 24-hour call coverage
- Patient Age Group: Adults only
- Average Outpatient Volume: 12-14 patients/day
- Average Inpatient Consults: 5-10/day Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Read stress and rest echocardiograms and nuclear cardiology studies
- Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and electrical cardioversions
- Supervise:
- Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Stress testing
- Cardiac rehab
- Work collaboratively within a 17-cardiologist team
- Document in EPIC EMR Required Procedures and Skills
- Echocardiography
- Transesophageal echocardiography
- Cardioversions
- Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Treadmill and chemical stress testing
- Level I Trauma Center
- 4 Cath Labs: 2 Interventional and 2 EP
- Full cardiac surgery program
- Structural heart program (TAVR, TEER, LAAC)
- Cardiac imaging modalities on-site
- Dedicated anesthesia and experienced lab staff
- APP support for inpatient and outpatient settings
