Our company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support the inside sales team. This is an onsite role located in our Tampa, FL facility. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) supports the Inside Sales team by providing excellent customer service and efficient order management. This role is responsible for assisting customers with inquiries, processing orders and quotes, and coordinating with sales representatives to ensure a smooth sales process. The CSR plays a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting overall sales growth.
Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email.
- Accurately enter customer orders, quotes, and changes into the system.
- Support the Inside Sales team by preparing quotes, researching product availability, and following up on customer requests.
- Provide timely and accurate information regarding product pricing, lead times, and order status.
- Work closely with the Inside Sales team to ensure customer needs are met and sales opportunities are maximized.
- Resolve customer issues and escalate complex concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Maintain strong product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
- Perform administrative tasks to support sales operations as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Customer Service Representative Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior customer service or sales support experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or related environment preferred.
- English / Spanish written & spoken abilities a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn order entry/CRM systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
