Responsibilities

  • You’ll be part of a team supporting multiple types of projects such as security risk assessments, security equipment upgrades, emergency planning, executive travel planning and protection (unarmed), course instruction, and more to meet utilization goals.
  • You’ll provide high-level client services to develop long-term partnerships with clients and establish/maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, contractors, corporate management, security personnel, and support staff.
  • You’ll direct all aspects of security projects in accordance with the scope of the contract, including project kickoff, contract management, cost management and forecasting, project execution, on-time deliverable execution, team management, and project closeout.
  • You’ll conduct security assessments and understand proven mitigations options (physical security, CPTED, plans/policies/procedures) and when to apply them to reduce risk.
  • You’ll have strong time management skills to balance and execute tasks simultaneously in support of projects, proposals, briefings/presentations, surveillance, and other items as assigned.
  • You’ll be responsible for large and small projects from proposal to close-out, conducting assessments, providing advisory services, and preparing deliverables for a multitude of clients in different divisions within the company.
  • You’ll have proven experience and success executing business development activities from opportunity surveillance, go/no go discussions, preparation of proposals and cost estimates, conducting and/or leading interviews, and forecasting to meet financial goals. When not working directly on projects, you’ll actively pursue new work and find opportunities to propose on new contracts for self-placement with the BD/proposal team.
  • You’ll continue to develop your skills, capabilities, and industry knowledge to grow and use your expertise and experience to recruit, retain, and mentor staff and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • You’ll understand how to read construction drawings, provide construction oversight, scheduling, and cost management in support of various projects.
  • You’ll have strong written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of data analysis and application, and solid reading comprehension to synthesize information into well written and professional content to be used for: client reports, and deliverables, internal marketing materials, presentations, scopes of work, articles, etc. as required.
  • Flexible : The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center. Projects may require travel, up to 20%, spread across any particular year.

$135,000 - $165,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, including location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below. We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.

Qualifications

  • Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience managing and supporting relevant projects and programs
  • Minimum eight (8) years of security and risk assessment related project experience, with two (2) of those years with construction management related activities
  • Minimum of one (1) project management certification (e.g., Project Management Professional) and one security certification (e.g., Physical Security Professional (PSP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Threat Manager (CTM))

Bonus Points

  • Consulting and/or field experience in project management, physical security risk assessments, physical security equipment upgrades, emergency planning, executive travel planning and protection (unarmed), course instruction
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field
  • Experience and knowledge in at least one of the following topics: workplace violence, behavioral threat evaluation, security related training (e.g., ICD 705), or policy development
  • Ability to work within team environment as well as independently
  • Involvement in security organization above and beyond general membership (e.g., ASIS International, Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, Security Industry Association)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; and Microsoft Project or Primavera
