Responsibilities
SAP Development
- Lead full lifecycle development of custom SAP solutions within the S/4HANA Private Cloud environment.
- Design and implement applications using ABAP, ABAP RAP, and OO ABAP, including Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.
- Develop and maintain Fiori / SAPUI5 applications for modern user interfaces.
- Create and manage CDS Views, OData services, and RESTful APIs using ADT, BOPF, and BRF+.
- Enhance standard SAP functionality through WRICEF objects (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
- Utilize SAP tools such as ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, Debugger, and tracing tools (SAT, ST05, ST12) for development and performance optimization.
- Design custom module pool programs and manage complex object-oriented development patterns.
- Integrate SAP with third-party systems using SAP CPI and other middleware via IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and flat files.
- Collaborate with functional teams across FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, PM and QM for integrated solution design.
- Lead DevOps processes and oversee transport management to ensure secure, traceable, and compliant deployments.
- Support ongoing system upgrades, migrations, and ensure clean custom code compatibility.
Security Oversight
- Design and govern role-based access control (RBAC) strategies for all SAP systems.
- Ensure compliance with GRC, SOX, and GDPR regulations through proactive controls and continuous monitoring.
- Collaborate with SAP Security and Basis teams to manage authorization objects, composite/single roles, and user provisioning.
- Integrate security requirements into the development lifecycle and manage Segregation of Duties (SoD) risks.
- Support internal and external audit processes, including documentation and remediation planning.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of SAP technical development experience, focused on S/4HANA or ECC.
- 3+ years of team leadership or senior technical oversight.
- Deep expertise in ABAP, Fiori/UI5, ABAP RAP. BTB and CPI a plus.
- Strong functional knowledge of key SAP modules: FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, and QM.
- Proven experience with CDS views, OData services, performance tuning, and WRICEF development.
- Demonstrated expertise in SAP authorization design, RBAC models, and integration of security best practices into development.
- Experience managing complex SAP landscapes, including integrations and interface architectures.
- Hands-on involvement in multiple SAP full lifecycle implementations, system upgrades, and production support.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA private cloud architecture, and supporting middleware technologies.
- Effective communicator with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations.
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage compliance, change control, and audit readiness.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional enterprise environment with multiple concurrent priorities.
- A collaborative, influential leader with the ability to build consensus and drive outcomes across teams.
- Knowledge of SAP Infrastructure, Basis, and system performance management.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and structured incident/change management processes
Compensation Data
What We Offer:
$134,00 - $160,00
Actual pay is based on experience, qualifications, and location of the role. Roles may be eligible for annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
