Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of Archer’s high fidelity aircraft simulators which facilitate validation and verification activities, handling quality evaluations, human factor evaluations and the overall aircraft development process
- Work with internal groups to design and build tools that consolidate data from multiple sources for lab configuration and hardware integration purposes
- Design, build, maintain and improve existing CI/CD infrastructure to support end-to-end automation of lab software
- Work with internal groups to create test automation functionality in support of aircraft certification testing
- Design and build graphical user interfaces to control the real-time simulation environment
- Assist in the execution of test plans and test automation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a related field
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in Python or C++
- Experience with Matlab
- Experience in developing and maintaining relational databases
- Experience gathering user requirements and developing design diagrams, user documentations, and project plans for developing software
- Experience prototyping Graphical User Interfaces based on user feedback
- Solid understanding of standard software development tools:
- Continuous integration - TeamCity / Artifactory
- Version control - Git / Bitbucket
- Issue tracking - Jira
- Proficiency in C/C++ or other low-level languages
- Proficiency and MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience with model based development using Matlab/Simulink
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and tools
- Familiarity with or a passion for aviation
