About the Role

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Tive, you will play a pivotal role helping scale the company to significant global growth over the next several years. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the board of directors, overseeing financial strategy, FP&A, cash flow management, and global operations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic financial leader with experience scaling high-growth companies through significant revenue expansion, particularly in SaaS, logistics, hardware/software, and/or industrial technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Finance & Growth Leadership: Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to drive significant, sustained revenue growth; prepare and present financial reports, investment materials, and board presentations; guide improvements in gross margins through pricing optimization, cost management, and operational efficiency; partner with the CEO and leadership team on major strategic growth initiatives to expand the business.
  • Financial Operations & Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and capital allocation; oversee ERP and financial systems (NetSuite); lead financial planning & analysis to support data-driven decision-making; ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and international finance requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Organizational Scaling: Build and mentor a high-performing finance, accounting, and FP&A team; lead a globally distributed finance function (teams in Boston, PA, TX, CA, Mexico, Kosovo, and more); work cross-functionally with operations, sales, and product teams to align financial strategies with business goals.

Ideal Candidate

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 10+ years of senior financial leadership experience (CFO, VP Finance, or similar role).
  • Proven track record of scaling a high-growth company through significant revenue expansion.
  • Expertise in FP&A, cash management, and financial modeling.
  • Deep understanding of hardware/software business models and cost structures.
  • Strong operational finance experience, including international finance and tax structures.
  • Boston-based preferred, but open to top-tier remote candidates willing to travel.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience with fundraising and private equity.
  • IPO experience (helpful but not required).
  • Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, or industrial technology industries.
