Responsibilities
The Senior Organizational Development (OD) Business Partner plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational effectiveness, focusing on aligning business strategies with the organization\'s structure, processes, and culture. This role leads complex OD initiatives, including advanced strategy and planning, strategic implementation for impactful outcomes, and sophisticated assessment and evaluation. The Senior OD Business Partner is responsible for expert coaching and leadership development, driving change leadership initiatives, and implementing innovative talent management strategies.
Qualifications
Candidates can be hired at 2 levels depending on experience:
- OD Business Partner Sr
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in a complex multi-site organization, in internal consulting working with managers, management consulting, organizational development, change management or a related field is required.
- Healthcare Experience Is Preferred.
- Education: Master\'s degree in Organization Development, Business Administration, Psychology, Adult Education or related field or relevant work experience.
- OD Business Partner
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a complex multi-site organization, in internal consulting working with managers, management consulting, organizational development, change management or a related field is required.
- Healthcare Experience Is Preferred.
- Education: Bachelor\'s degree within two years of hire into position is required. Master\'s degree in Organization Development, Business Administration, Psychology, Adult Education or related field is preferred.
Special Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of OD theories, philosophies and methods, strategic business planning, adult learning styles and interactive teaching methods, coaching and consulting with individuals and teams, change and conflict management theories, organizational and departmental needs analysis, principles of customer service, and employee engagement theories.
- Ability to carry out broad and complex assignments, requiring comprehensive knowledge of OD practices, training practices and internal operations in order to develop recommendations for change.
- Performs full scope of activities associated with the design, development and delivery of customized solutions that enhance organizational effectiveness and responds to future trends with innovative strategies.
- Track record in interacting confidently and credibly with senior business leaders.
- Excellent communication and influence skills; strong interpersonal communications skills.
- Solid ability to facilitate group discussion, and perform diagnostic and interventional strategies.
- Ability to negotiate and influence within a collaborative framework.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate future trends and consequences.
- Demonstrated initiative to analyze and resolve problems quickly, efficiently and collaboratively.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Licensure
- Certification in assessment tool administration, change management, and/or executive leadership coaching is preferred.
