Overview

Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced and bilingual Senior Financial Manager to join our finance team in a fast-paced tech environment. This role requires strong financial expertise, excellent communication and reporting skills in both Korean and English, and the ability to collaborate across HQ and local team members. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and partnering with senior leadership to drive business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
  • Review and conduct variance analysis (comparing actuals to budget) to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide financial insights to senior executives for both short-term and long-term decision making
  • Identify opportunities to improve current financial processes and streamline operations
  • Collaborate with various other departments to align financial planning with business objectives
  • Manage and mentor a team of financial analysists, ensure the team’s work is accurate and align with company polices
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed to support management decision-making

Required Skills

  • BS in finance or accounting or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • 7 + years of professional work experience in finance (FP&A), preferably in a tech or global company with at least 3 years of managerial role
  • A solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data, and develop solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving ability along with solid analytical skills, understanding of the business process, and systems optimization
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills in both Korean and English
  • Advanced Excel and Strong familiarity with project management and proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.) and financial software (e.g. SAP)
  • Detail-oriented and ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CFA, CMA) is a plus

Compensation

Base Pay Range

$107,700 - $148,100 USD

Essential Job Functions
