Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP SCM Consultant . As a Lead Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and assist in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design. You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Base pay range
$84,539.00/yr - $125,995.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the activities of configuration and configure the product as per the design; conduct conference room pilots; assist in resolving queries related to requirements and solution design.
- Conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops, and prepare effort estimates aligned with customer budgetary requirements and organizational guidelines.
- Support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable clients to meet changing needs.
- Help discover and define the problem statement, evaluate solution options, and make recommendations as part of the consulting team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent; will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of information technology experience.
- The location for this position is Pomona, CA. Travel to project/client locations may be required.

Preferred Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience in SAP SCM implementation and support programs.
- Experience across Electricity (preferred), or Gas or Water Utilities industries, North America.
- Experience with process integration and master data management, production planning, business forecasting and demand planning.
- Strong configuration skills in Procurement, Inventory Management, Order Management, and Warehouse Management.
- Experience independently writing functional specifications and working on critical projects.
- Experience with integration of SAP FICO with MM and SD.
- Experience in at least one end-to-end lifecycle implementation activity, including:
- Requirement gathering
- Business process design
- SAP configuration
- RICEFW functional design
- Systems and Integration Testing
- Resolving production issues
- Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel-based data analysis.
- Ability to work with offshore teams and coordinate delivery between onsite and offshore.
- Flexible work timings due to remote working environment, including offshore overlaps twice daily.
