About the role
Ropers Majeski’s growing and dynamic litigation practice has an opportunity for a Litigation Attorney in the Bay Area with a minimum of two years of experience. This position offers the flexibility for remote, hybrid, or in-person work. The firm was founded 75 years ago and maintains offices internationally and throughout the United States.
Skills and Educational Requirements
- JD with excellent academic credentials
- Minimum of two years of solid litigation experience
- Demonstrated interest or previous experience handling coverage matters and litigating bad faith and/or insurance-related actions preferred
- Ability to handle complex litigation matters from inception to trial, including motion writing, preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and depositions, analyzing professional liability coverage, and conducting legal research and analysis
- The ideal candidate will have experience in both state and federal court proceedings
- Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and e-discovery platforms
- Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a timely and professional manner
- Current CA Bar admission in good standing is required
- Base salary commensurate with experience
