Global Materials Manager

What You Will Do
Facilitate the development and execution of the Global Materials Plan, focusing on both purchased and manufactured common materials. Collaborate with the Global Planning Director to identify and implement working capital improvement strategies. Convert Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) inputs into actionable demand requirements for various global manufacturing sites. Influence and direct material planning processes at global manufacturing locations to ensure alignment with global strategies. Direct regional inventory control teams to ensure consistency with the overall global strategy. Develop standard work practices and visual management tools to streamline the global planning process. Evaluate supplier performance and develop replenishment strategies that align with global planning objectives. Collaborate with relevant category teams to implement effective supplier replenishment strategies. Ensure the necessary data is available from the sites to support global material allocation decisions. Use common data model in Snowflake to generate insights across all OpCo's and sustain a daily management for working capital risks. Work with BI team to develop global dashboards around material management using lean manufacturing tools like plan for every part (PFEP), inventory management at gemba (IMAG), and dynamic kanban.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Seven plus years proven experience in global supply chain planning or materials management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. SQL query and PowerBI expertise to improve analytics and metrics. Experience with S&OP processes and inventory management systems. Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in data analysis software. Experience with e-kanban systems and methodology. Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time as required.
The base compensation range for this position is $96,800 to $125,000 per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based on numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
