About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Fund Accounting to take on a high-impact leadership role with a focus on financial and operational aspects of fund accounting for multiple funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting complex legal documents, ensuring compliance with partnership agreements and GAAP/IFRS standards, and overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, including quarterly and annual reports, NAV/GAV calculations, and investor notices. This role also involves managing external audits, fund administrator relationships, and supporting tax compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund operations, financial reporting, and investor relations, with a preference for those with experience in real estate.
Applicants for the Vice President of Fund Accounting position at the company should have a minimum of 10-15 years' of experience in private equity fund accounting, with a strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and investment accounting. A CPA and/or MBA is preferred. The role requires proven leadership and project management skills, excellent communication, and strategic thinking abilities. The successful candidate will be expected to drive process improvements, explore automation and AI integration, and provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the fund accounting team.
