Pay Information $1,850 per week About The Position ID: Shift: 12H Days 12 HR DAYS Description: Unit MILE RADIUS RULEUNIT OPENS OCT 1 - ASAP STARTS HIGHLY PREFERREDRATIO;s - 1:4-5 will adjust for acuityCONTRACTS WILL GO THROUGH JAN 10 ( of weeks will vary based on start date)travelers must work 2 of 3 holidays: thanksgiving/Christmas eve or day/New Years eve or dayMUST HAVE Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in similar size ED and must have successfully completed at least 1 previous travel assignment. REFERENCES SHOULD BE from RECENT assignment(s)INFO ABOUT THE ER @ St Joseph's Beds/Trauma Bays: 50- Do you have a Fast Track: Yes- Do you have a separate Triage area? If so, do you allow/require travelers to do Triage?: Yes- Do you have a separate holding area in the ER or are ER holds intermixed w/in the ER?: ER intermixed- Do you have separate Psych/seclusion rooms?: 2 rooms- Is Security in-house 24/7? Housed in the ER?: Yes- On average, how many patients do you treat in the ER/day?: 120 per day- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cardiac, neuro, orho, critical care- ED Physician/Mid-Levels: ED physicians PA's and NP's- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Charge doesn't have an assignment- Nurse aids/EMT/Paramedics/Patient Sitters? Ratios? Duties?: Paramedics and PCTs- Is RT in the ER 24/7? Do they do ABG's, breathing Tx, & EKG's?:RT is available 24/7. RT is not housed in the ED but responds quickly. RT completes ABGs and breathing treatments upon request. - RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot?: RT handles- Do you have Monitor Techs in the ER? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the Tele monitors?: Spacelabs monitors. RN is required to read their own strips and save them into the chart. - X-Ray or CT in the ER? Transport?: X-ray and CT in ER. They have their own techs to and from imaging. - Does Phlebotomy draw labs or RN's draw?: No phlebotomy in the ER- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling?
