Travel RN - Medical ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU (MICU) position requiring recent critical care experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.Job Details•Work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) of a hospital,•Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm,•Care for critically ill adult patients in an ICU environment,•Use of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation,Job Requirements•Active RN license for Ohio or compact state required at the time of consideration,•Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required and must be active,•A minimum of 18 months of permanent, recent critical care or ICU experience in the specialty is required prior to travel assignments,•At least 18 months of recent experience in the MICU specialty is required,•NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is preferred,•Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty are required, including one from the past 12 months and one from the most recent travel assignment,•Completion of BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of signing the contract is required,Additional Information•Must work at least every other holiday as part of the assignment,•Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate,•Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments; two attempts allowed to pass,•Candidates must pick up a badge and complete onsite fingerprinting prior to start,•Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for one year after their previous end date,•PAPRs are not allowed for caregivers with facial hair unless a medical or religious exemption has been approved,•Negative 10-panel and nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually,•Modules must be completed before start and are billable up to a maximum of 4 hours,),•hash,:• ,
