American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Oncology unit night shift, requiring ONS chemotherapy certification and trauma center experience.Job Details•Work in a short-term acute care hospital on a hematology and transplant Oncology unit,•Patient population includes leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma patients,•Unit manages chemotherapy, biotherapy, bone marrow/stem cell transplants, and Car-T therapy,•Average RN-to-patient ratio is 1:4 with 28 beds in the unit,•Night shifts are 12 hours, three nights per week (19:00-07:00),•Floating may be required,•Every other weekend shifts required,•Epic EMR is used; experience preferred,•Royal blue scrubs required,Job Requirements•Active RN license required (Compact or CT license; must apply before start if not already held),•ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification required,•Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience required,•Experience in a large trauma center required,•One professional reference required,•Flu vaccine is required with no declinations accepted,•COVID-19 vaccine and booster required unless medical or religious exemption is approved,Additional Information•Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, bone marrow/stem cell transplants, Car-T therapy, and providing support to hematologic oncology patients,•First-time travelers are welcome to apply,•Must not reside within 75 miles of the facility to be eligible,•Returning staff must have been gone for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler,•Up to 7 days of requested time off can be auto-approved,•Participation in emergency response activities may be required,•Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start and annually,),•hash,:• ,
