Travel RN - Med/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in a small rural setting, requiring strong independence and both PCU and telemetry experience.Job Details•Work in a small hospital unit with a Med/Surg Tele patient population,•Serves patients ranging from newborn to geriatric,•RN to patient ratios are 5:1 based on acuity, with higher acuity PCU patients at 3:1 or 4:1,•Both day and night shifts are available,•Care for both general Med/Surg and higher acuity PCU patients,Job Requirements•Active NH or Compact RN license required at the time of consideration,•Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required,•Minimum 3 years of PCU, Med/Surg, and Tele experience,•Telemetry and basic dysrhythmia test proficiency required,•Previous travel, rural, or small facility experience is highly preferred,•Must have a personal vehicle for commuting to assignment,Additional Information•Nurses must be able to work independently and adapt quickly in a rural, low resource environment,•Personal scrubs of any color may be worn,•No schedule accommodations are allowed and block scheduling is not available,•Maximum of 5 days of requested time off permitted,•Applicants with concurrent permanent or travel assignments will not be considered,),•hash,:• ,
