American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN with Cerner proficiency and a minimum of two years' cardiovascular OR experience, including both scrub and circulate roles.Job Details•Hospital-based Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting,•Patient population includes cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases such as CABG, mitral valve replacement, TAVR, AAA repair, and other structural heart procedures,•Duties include both scrubbing and circulating for a variety of heart and vascular cases, circulate only for structural heart cases,•Expected case load is 1-9 cases per day,•Day shift schedule working 4x10 hour shifts from 6:00 to 16:30,•Extensive on-call responsibility including two Friday night, two weekend, and four weekday on-call shifts every six weeks,•Required to float to units with equivalent or lower acuity as needed,•Utilizes Cerner for charting; Cerner experience is required,•Scrubs are provided,Job Requirements•Active RN license (MD or Compact) required at time of consideration,•Minimum two years of recent CVOR RN experience required,•At least one prior travel assignment is required,•Experience with scrub and circulate roles for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery cases is mandatory,•Current BLS certification is required; ACLS certification preferred,•Cerner EMR experience is required,•Two supervisor references from the past two years are required,•Applicants must meet the local radius rule (within 60 miles accepted as locals at a lower rate),•Must not have been employed by the health system within the past year to be eligible,Additional Information•Responsibilities include scrub and circulate functions for major heart and vascular surgeries, and circulate exclusively for structural heart cases,•There is a potential to encounter COVID patients during the assignment,•Mandatory flu vaccination is required for all employees,•Comprehensive training modules are completed pre-start and may continue during orientation, with documentation by transcript,•Must list all preferred days off in initial application; no more than seven days requested off per 13 week contract is highly preferred,•No time off permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment,•First-time travelers will not be considered for this position,),•hash,:• ,
