American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an IMC (Intermediate Care/Stepdown) position requiring ICU and ventilator experience in a large teaching hospital setting.Job Details•Work in a hospital Intermediate Care/Stepdown (IMC) unit with a patient ratio of up to 1:3,•Patient population includes trauma, neurological injuries, and post-surgical care cases,•Unit has 21 beds with an average daily census of 20,•Requires experience with ventilator patients and trauma-related injuries,•Day shifts available (3x12 hours, 7:00-19:30),•EPIC EMR experience required,•Floating to qualified units within the health system may be required,Job Requirements•Active RN license,•Minimum 1 year of recent ICU and Intermediate/Stepdown experience in a large teaching hospital,•Proficiency with ventilator management is required,•Experience with trauma injuries such as head and spinal cord injuries,•Critical care nursing experience required,•At least 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required,•Must reside more than 100 miles from any facility in the health system to receive full travel benefit; candidates 50.0-99.9 miles away are accepted at a reduced rate, under 50 miles not eligible,Additional Information•Must work 2 of the 3 main holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year,•No time off allowed during the week between Christmas and New Year,•Two professional references are required for consideration,•Must provide a copy of Social Security card and driver's license for compliance,•Floating only to units where competencies have been demonstrated,•Travelers with at least one year of unit-based experience will be considered,),•hash,:• ,
