20 bed unit Patient ratio: 4:1 Top diagnosis/procedures: True general PCU: Sepsis, AKI, respiratory illnesses, gen surgery cases, A- Fib w/ RVR, etc. Common equipment used: IV & PCA pumps, Wound Vacs Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? Yes, but minimally.
