Travel RN - Med/Surg

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical Acute/Flex Pool position requiring recent Epic EMR proficiency and flexibility to float across multiple Med/Surg units.Job Details•Work in a hospital setting assigned primarily to the Surgical Pediatrics unit,•Expected to float to Medical, Surgical/Peds, and Transitional Care Units as needed,•Cares for adult and pediatric med/surg patients in acute care, step down, and TCU environments,•Patient ratios are typically 1:6 across Medical, Surgical/Peds, and Transitional Care units, but may vary,•12-hour shifts scheduled for 36 hours per week following first week of orientation,•Utilizes Epic EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes,Job Requirements•Active RN license required,•Minimum 2 years and up to 10 years of recent med/surg nursing experience,•Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,•Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months and ability to demonstrate Epic proficiency during orientation,•Must provide documentation of immunity for all facility requirements; exemptions are not accepted,•Ability to float to multiple units as assigned,Additional Information•No requested time off (RTO) will be granted during the assignment,•Start dates are fixed and not flexible,•Orientation and training provided for each assigned unit,•All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start and must plan travel accordingly,•Professional nursing scrubs are required,•Clearance documents are due two weeks before assignment start; incomplete documentation may result in cancellation,•First day of work and orientation begins on a Saturday,),•hash,:• ,
