Provide emergency nursing care in a Level I Trauma Center and large hospital setting.
- Manage patients with acute and life-threatening conditions requiring rapid intervention.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, initiate IV access, and perform triage.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize patients and coordinate care.
- Must be flexible to float between like units and campuses within 20 miles (rarely required).
- Expected to work 48 hours per week, firm commitment ; block scheduling is difficult to approve.Ax
Eligibility & Requirements Requirement Details Experience 2+ years ER experience with prior travel OR 3+ years ER experience without travel (Strict) License Active TN or Compact RN license in hand – no pending licenses (Strict, NLC compliant) Travel Experience At least 1 completed previous travel assignment required Trauma Experience Must have large hospital & Level I trauma experience Education ADN accepted (BSN required only for Le Bonheur Children’s, Rheumatology, or Float Pool roles) Compliance Must live 100+ miles from facility (Strict) Float Policy RNs may float between like units and campuses within 20 miles Charting System Cerner experience preferred Vaccination COVID-19 not required; Flu vaccine required – no exemptions Holiday Coverage If 3 holidays fall during contract, must work 2; if 2 fall, must work at least 1 Documents Copy of Driver’s License required at submission; RTO must be declared up front Restrictions Candidate must not be submitted to multiple jobs/IDs at this facility Rehire Former perm/internal employees must be separated 1 year before eligibility to return #HCRR
