The Role

The Global Corporate Controller is a senior leader within our Finance organization, accountable for the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of our worldwide financial reporting and accounting operations. This role oversees global tax compliance and treasury management while leading a geographically dispersed team. The Global Corporate Controller sets and enforces financial governance, ensures regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and partners closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep technical accounting expertise, operational excellence, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-entity, multi-currency environments.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting

  • Lead the preparation of accurate, timely, and compliant consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Maintain global consistency in reporting across all subsidiaries and business units.
  • Oversee technical accounting policies and lead research for complex transactions (e.g., revenue recognition, M&A, leases).
  • Manage external audit relationships and direct all global audit processes, including FAR audits.

Global Accounting Operations

  • Direct all general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed asset functions worldwide.
  • Drive continuous improvement in close processes to increase speed, accuracy, and visibility.
  • Ensure statutory reporting compliance across all jurisdictions.
  • Leverage ERP systems and automation tools for greater efficiency and scalability.

Tax

  • Oversee global tax compliance, planning, and reporting for corporate income, indirect, and payroll taxes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on transfer pricing, international structuring, and tax risk mitigation.
  • Support tax aspects of M&A activities, from due diligence to post-close integration.

Treasury & Cash Management

  • Manage global cash, liquidity planning, and intercompany funding strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong banking relationships while optimizing banking structures.
  • Oversee foreign exchange risk management, including hedging strategies.
  • Monitor and forecast cash flow to support operational and strategic needs.

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Maintain the global internal control framework.
  • Implement consistent accounting and treasury policies and governance practices.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, legal, regulatory, and tax requirements.

Leadership & Strategic Partnership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global finance team.
  • Partner with FP&A, Legal, Operations, and other leaders on business initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive team.
  • Support strategic projects including financing, capital allocation, and M&A integrations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA (or equivalent) required, advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, including global tax and treasury oversight.
  • Deep knowledge of US GAAP and international statutory reporting requirements.
  • Proven success managing multi-currency, multi-entity consolidations and complex corporate structures.
  • Demonstrated leadership of geographically distributed team.
Compensation

The rate for this position generally is $220,000 - $270,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
