Job Description:
Leads rebagging team, acting as subject matter expert on rebagging practices, to include preparing and processing various packaged goods based on customer orders and specifications. Assists in training and development of new associates and staff. Helps in the oversight of following all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety and quality standards as required per company policy. Work schedules may vary based on type of product work assignments. The position functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.Continues to support team through packaging candy and nuts into sellable bag configurations. Responsible for preparation, processing, and packaging of product.
Assists with oversight of team, helping to ensure adherence to all safety and sanitation procedures.
Reviews production schedule, performs safety checks on equipment and obtains supplies required to perform work. Prepares work area to ensure efficient operations
Assists with and ensures completeness of all cleaning duties and required paperwork including HACCP and SQF
Takes the lead on box assembly, packing, labeling, sealing, and stacking for shipment.
Assists in oversight of product rotation and stocking practices and other procedures related to inventory inspection
Follows all safety practices and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) per company policy, helping to ensure team does as well.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Hours from 4:00pm - 2:30am.
Qualification:
High School Diplomas/GED or Equivalent Experience:3 5 years experience
work on a production line in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
