Overview:

Integer Technologies is seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruiting Manager to take ownership of our growing recruitment function. This is a hands-on role where you will directly manage full-cycle recruiting for both technical and cleared positions. You will report to the Director of Human Resources, who has already established foundational processes and procedures for talent acquisition. From day one, youll have the support and guidance of HR leadership, while also having the autonomy to execute and refine recruiting strategies.

As the company grows, this role will expand to include scaling the recruiting function, enhancing best practices, and eventually building and managing a recruiting team.

This position is focused solely on talent acquisition within the defense and government contracting sector, not general HR. The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter with deep knowledge of GovCon hiring and the ability to balance immediate requisition needs with longer-term strategy and process development.

We perform R&D on next-generation systems and technologies for the Department of Defense and other U.S. Government agencies. We are hardware and software developers with experience transforming research into fieldable technology. Our core portfolio of research includes projects in power & energy systems, unmanned systems (with an emphasis on maritime systems), digital engineering, cyber security, and advanced manufacturing. Our mission is to create a safer world by translating scientific discoveries into reliable products that address urgent national security needs at the speed of relevance.

Key Responsibilities / Task List:

  • Manage the full recruiting life-cycle (sourcing, screening, interviewing, and transitioning selected candidates to HR for final offer and onboarding).
  • Partner with hiring managers and executives to understand staffing needs and create targeted recruiting strategies.
  • Proactively source cleared and technical talent through industry networks, referrals, clearance databases, and social platforms.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for engineering, software, and program management positions.
  • Develop recruiting processes, metrics, and tools to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with all federal contractor requirements (EEO, OFCCP).
  • Represent the company externally at career fairs, conferences, and industry events to promote our employer brand.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 4 years in the government contracting/defense sector.
  • Proven success filling cleared and technical positions (Secret, TS/SCI, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of federal contractor recruiting compliance (OFCCP, EEO).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions while building long-term pipelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, clearance job boards).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred (HR, Business, or related field)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience building or scaling a recruiting function at a small/mid-size defense contractor.
  • Existing network in the cleared defense talent community.
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to coordinate and participate in social events
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Dependable, proactive, and collaborative
  • Reports to the Director of Human Resources
  • Collaborates with local management and the broader Finance & Admin team
