Skills and Knowledge:
Ability to stock, move, arrange and rotate warehouse items in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a higher-level employee. Skilled in manually stacking, palletizing, arranging and rotating items according to size and weight; using hand trucks. Dollies and other similar manual equipment to move stock. Ability to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials.

Duties
Help
- Moves supplies and material by stacking in assigned locations.
- Recommends reordering when levels of stock become low.
- Assists in the unloading of trucks, as required, by using hand trucks, pallets, jacks or dollies and moves or stores supplies as necessary.
- Safely boxes and packs material for shipment or storage.
- Conducts inventories.

- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Medical examination required. Physical effort includes prolonged periods of standing, bending, stooping, working in uncomfortable positions, lifting/carrying equipment and parts weighing up to 40lbs.
- Must possess and retain a valid state driver's license.
- Most work performed inside or outside in areas that may be hot, damp, cold, drafty or poorly lighted.
- Must be able to work varying and/or rotating shifts to include weekends and holidays. Majority of hours will be between 8:00AM-3:00PM, Monday-Friday.
- The dual compensation guidelines DO NOT apply to this position. All GS and NAF employees whether full time or part time are eligible to apply for this position.

Initial Cut-Off Date:

PCS Costs
- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
- This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
- All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
- Incentives will not be paid.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
