About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Finance to provide strategic leadership and management of its financial and accounting affairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for long-range financial planning, budgeting, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. This role involves advising the President on business and financial matters, identifying strategic fiscal opportunities, and overseeing the development and implementation of financial programs, policies, and internal controls. The Vice President for Finance will also have oversight of procurement contracts, audits, grant funding, and will be involved in managing cash and endowment investments.
Candidates for the Vice President for Finance position at the company should have a Master's degree and a minimum of 7 years' senior-level experience as a financial and administrative executive. Experience in higher education and with grant and federal funding is preferred.
