Job Title
Assist the Materials/Logistics Team with shipping, work order receiving, PO receiving inspection, and inventory control. Provide general support to the Materials/Logistics team as needed. This is a fast-paced department that requires working as part of a team and having the ability to multi-task.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Shipping -- Assist in packaging completed units in accordance with ATA 300 and ship via FedEx, UPS, DHL, or other specific methods back to the customer both domestic and internationally.
- WO Receiving -- Open boxes and ensure all incoming Customer orders are inspected for damage and accuracy of Customer Repair Order. If there is a discrepancy, ensure unit is appropriately segregated and identified as to the cause for rejection.
- WO Receiving - Generate Work order in ERP system by accurately transcribing Customer Instructions, RFR, Work scope, and Shipping/Billing information.
- PO Receiving -- Assist in inspecting all incoming products which are used directly or in support of aircraft maintenance and inspection, for acceptability as directed in the Repair Station Manual/Quality Control Manual.
- PO Receiving -- Helping to ensure files are maintained with copies of all documents received with incoming products, most importantly certifications, Serviceable tags, etc.
- Inventory Control - Using job tickets pull parts correctly from inventory and distribute to the technicians. This would also include returning parts into inventory from technicians if the parts were not used.
- Inventory Control duties -- Assist with Cycle Count of Inventory, completion of yearly inventory counts for every S/L location.
- General Materials/Logistics support duties such as labeling, stocking shelves, and assisting receiving and shipping operations as needed.
