About the Role

The Company is seeking a strategic Senior Vice President (SVP) Controller to lead its finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, with a strong focus on public filings and compliance for a publicly traded entity. This role demands a seasoned leader with a minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position, and a background in public company financial operations. The SVP Controller will oversee the accounting team, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, manage the preparation and filing of SEC reports, and develop and implement financial policies and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure SOX compliance.
Key responsibilities for the SVP Controller include providing strategic financial insights to the executive team, supporting finance integration projects, and managing the annual audit process. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and hold a CPA or CMA certification. Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance is essential, as is experience with ERP systems. The role requires excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills. The SVP Controller will also be expected to support the CFO in presenting financial reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.
