Warehouse Material Handling
Summary: Ships, receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishment by performing the following duties. Works with warehouse leads and supervisor to ensure inventory accuracy, customer satisfaction, and a safe work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following. Other Duties May Be Assigned:
- Pulls and stages orders for shipment, filling out the appropriate paperwork and adhering to FIFO and customer requirements
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand and by fork truck
- Loads materials into trailers or containers and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
- Loads and unloads cartons and freight into and from trailers and containers by hand or by forklift, and places in designated areas, sorting by sales order and lot number
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cartons, gaylords, totes, or other containers
- Opens bales, crates, and other containers
- Uses computer to enter records and to verify accuracy of work
- Must maintain forklift certification and operate a forklift to assist in loading or moving materials and products
- Verifies packing lists from inbound freight
- Verifies accuracy of inbound and outbound container and trailer loads, ensuring C-TPAT compliance
- Uses scanners for inventory control
- Must be verified on all applicable ISO documents
- Keep warehouse swept and perform other housekeeping duties as needed
- Drive fork truck through warehouse to get parts from racks to stage orders and/or stack for shipping
- Weigh parts to be shipped
- Label all parts being received
- Fill out paperwork for outgoing and incoming freight and for outgoing UPS shipments
