Job Summary: As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and accurate coordination of shipping and receiving operations within our organization. - Order Processing: Accurately receive and process incoming orders through various channels, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Packing and Labeling: Prepare orders for shipment by selecting appropriate packaging materials, packing items securely, and affixing shipping labels with correct information.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies, and communicate replenishment needs to the relevant departments.
- Shipping Coordination: Collaborate with carriers and freight companies to arrange pick-ups and deliveries, and track shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of shipments, including tracking numbers, shipping methods, and delivery dates. Generate shipping manifests, labels, and other necessary documentation.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure orders are accurately packed, labeled, and meet quality standards before shipping.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any shipping discrepancies, damaged products, or order-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with internal teams, customers, and shipping partners regarding order status, delays, and other relevant information.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all shipping regulations, including hazardous materials handling, customs requirements, and other relevant guidelines.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for streamlining shipping processes and recommend improvements to enhance overall efficiency.

- ShipStation experience and knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with shipping processes, carrier relationships, and warehouse operations.
- Experience with inventory management and record-keeping.
- No specific certifications are required, but any relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain management are advantageous.
- This role may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- The Shipping Clerk should be capable of safely lifting packages of varying weights up to 70 lbs.
