JOB SUMMARY
Supports HRBP and leadership in implementing local initiatives and executing regional and corporate programs. Aims to create an environment that attracts, develops, retains, and engages talent throughout the OpCo to achieve business goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
- Partner with Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to execute core HR processes such as performance management, talent management, total rewards, compensation, training and development, and transitional return-to-work processes.
- Offer coaching and guidance to leaders and associates on HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with HRBP to foster an inclusive and diverse culture.
- Handle employee and labor relations, including investigations and conflict resolution.
- Assist in reviewing, interpreting, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance performance and professional growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelors Degree in HR or Organizational Development.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources management.
- Preferably 3 years in a supervisory role or equivalent training and experience.
- Experience working with attorneys, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and senior leadership.
Decision-Making Authority:
- Maintain proficiency in current employment laws including ADA, FMLA, Sexual Harassment, Title VII, etc.
- Manage employee claims and litigation in collaboration with legal counsel.
Most significant decisions are made with review and approval from supervisors, including managing the HR department budget.
