Job Description
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills 10+ years of experience in development/solutioning using Microsoft technologies. Ability to independently lead solutioning efforts by liaising with Business & IT, recognized as an expert by the customer. Expertise in programming with .NET 4.0, Visual Studio 2012, C#, VB.NET, MVC, WCF, WF, AJAX, JQuery, Open Axis, SQL 2008, Entity Framework, Web APIs, and Windows Azure. Experience with latest .NET design patterns, including AngularJS. At least 2 years of development experience using Content Management Systems like Sitecore for Web Content Management with dynamic page building. Proficiency in troubleshooting .NET issues and guiding teams on best practices and deployment strategies. Understanding of web services technologies such as HTTP, JSON, WSDL, XSD, and REST. Experience working on large-scale internet websites. Familiarity with Agile development frameworks, Scrum Master roles, tools, and processes. UI development skills, including logical and programming skills in source code building. Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, quick learning ability, and capacity to work independently while guiding developers.
Roles and Responsibilities Participate in technical code walkthroughs, reviews, and suggest best practices. Design and implement proof of concepts and components as needed. Develop strategic architecture for large-scale e-commerce applications. Review existing application technology platforms and APIs, and design new .NET components for integration. Assist in replacing third-party .NET components with Microsoft technologies. Experience with Agile methodologies; airline domain knowledge is a plus. Design and implement proof of concepts/components as required. Review current systems and design new components in .NET for system integration. Lead and guide teams to refactor existing code for stability and scalability. Manage multiple projects efficiently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing requirements. Communicate effectively with senior management, develop new strategies, and provide quick solutions. Work independently with minimal supervision and coordinate across departments.
