PHP is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Rapid City, South Dakota.

- Shift: 12 hours, rotating

- Must have 1.5 years of experience – system requirement
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- kills required:
- RN:
- Night shift RN only ): MUST have Critical Care experience and competencies with ICU cases including hemodynamic drips and ventilated patients.
- Comfortability with Preop, Recovery and Discharge of patients.
- Comfortability to have boarded patients if hospital census is full and there are no inpatient beds available.
- These skills are needed in addition to competencies in the below.
- Variable shift RN: May be learned in orientation, but competencies include: IV insertion, ventilator training, epidural/PCA set up/initiation, initiation of blood product transfusions, competency with administration and monitoring of moderate sedation (will not work Intra-op in Endo but would prep and recover), critical thinking
