THE OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The purpose of this position is to support critical business functions through the development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of application systems.
SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work includes:
Design, code, test, debug, maintain, and document software applications.
Follow established software development standards and procedures.
Support business functions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of application systems.
Participate in peer code reviews.
Collaborate with departments and users to support business applications.
Contribute software development expertise to meet specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
6+ years in JEE, including EJB 3+, Hibernate 3+, JMS, JSF, JBoss.
5+ years in Oracle 10g+ and RDBMS concepts.
5+ years in application development, software engineering, and design patterns.
5+ years in web application development.
4+ years in object-oriented design and architecture.
6+ years in technical documentation.
Additional desired experience includes:
Application software and RDBMS integration.
Configuration management and release principles.
Application security concepts.
Experience with Agile SDLC, Scrum preferred.
High availability architectures.
Networking and system engineering concepts.
PL/SQL and scripting languages.
Oracle Access Manager (OAM).
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Innovative thinking and approach development.
Short-range planning and decision-making.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
