CNC Screw Machinist Job Description

Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC screw machines to perform machining operations according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T symbols
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of parts
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Screw Machinist
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is desirable
- Ability to operate power tools and other equipment related to machining operation
- Experience with STAR, Tsugami and Citizen Machines
- Able to run multiple machines at once
