Reports To: Welding Supervisor / Production Manager

(Entry-Intermediate Level)

Job Type: Full-Time | ( 1st Shift) | Hourly

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Welder with entry to intermediate-level experience to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a production or fabrication environment and be skilled in TIG welding of various metals, including aluminum and stainless steel. Key Responsibilities:

Perform TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals per project specifications

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols

Set up welding machines and select appropriate settings for materials and weld type

Follow production schedules and meet established deadlines without compromising safety or quality

Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure weld quality and conformance to standards

Maintain tools and equipment and keep the work area clean and organized

Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and quality inspectors to resolve welding issues

Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times

Qualifications:

13 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment

Proficiency in TIG welding; MIG and stick welding a plus

Ability to weld thin-gauge materials with precision and minimal distortion

Familiarity with weld inspection tools and techniques

Ability to read blueprints and follow written work instructions

Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety

High school diploma or GED required; formal welding certification or technical training preferred

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in aerospace, defense, marine, or industrial manufacturing

AWS D17.1 or similar welding certifications (preferred, not required)

Experience working in ISO 9001 or AS9100-certified facilities
