In this role, you will support the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of piping, structural components, and facility infrastructure. This is a hands-on position that requires precision, safety, and attention to detail. You'll work closely with engineers and technicians in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.What you'll doWeld stainless steel and chromoly piping, structural steel, and other facility components to support operations and constructionRead and interpret technical drawings and welding specificationsFabricate and assemble metal components accurately using TIG and other welding techniquesMeasure and align piping systems around fixed structures using specialized toolsInspect and verify welds in line with relevant safety and quality standardsOperate welding and cutting tools safely and maintain equipmentAssist with general mechanical tasks such as fitting, alignment, and support installationsMaintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environmentSupport other duties as needed to meet project goals and timelinesQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ years of TIG welding experience, especially with pressurized systems (ASME B31.3)1+ years of experience working with process piping or structural weldingAbility to interpret and work from technical drawings and measurementsWillingness to work in confined spaces and at heightsValid driver's licensePreferred5+ years of welding experience including SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and oxy-acetylene techniquesFamiliarity with AWS and ASME welding codes and standardsExperience with ferrous and non-ferrous metalsSkilled with measurement tools such as laser levels, spirit levels, and inclinometersStrong safety awareness and experience working in challenging environments (outdoors, noise, fumes)Flexibility to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed
