We only accept direct applications.Summary:The HVAC Sheet Metal Welder will be responsible for fabricating, installing, and repairing HVAC ductwork and components. This role requires a strong background in both sheet metal work and welding to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and durability in our projects. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures through the use of various welding techniques, including welding steel and stainless steel.Schedule: 8-hour shiftDuties:Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal ductwork and HVAC components.Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG and flux-cored) to secure metal parts and assemblies.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Perform welding tasks on steel and stainless steel materialsRead and interpret blueprints to understand project specificationsOperate and maintain welding equipment to build and fabricate metal componentsInspect welds for accuracy, safety, and quality assuranceConduct quality checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise during installations.Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocolsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding with a strong sheet metal background.Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG and flux-cored).Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to work independently and as part of a team..Excellent problem-solving skills.Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments.Experience:Minimum 5 years of welding experience preferredProficiency in welding steel and stainless steelCertification in Aerial Lift Platform, or willingness to complete the required trainingOSHA 10 Certification, or willingness to complete the required trainingLicense/Certification:Valid Welding LicenseAbility to Relocate:Lexington, KY 40506: Relocate before starting work (Required)WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EXPECTATIONSSome job duties are performed within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.When the employee is at a work site, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and outdoor weather conditions. The noise in the work environment is often loud.Requires a consistent physical presence at the branch office to oversee shared services functions and employees, normally achieved by working standard business hours.
