Patients seen: Adults and geriatrics Daily census: 3-5 Unit capacity: 111 rooms with a total of 87 staffed beds Primary duties include monitoring and assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures. Experience in arrhythmia induction, cardiac mapping, and electrophysiology evaluation is preferred. Candidates should be proficient in insertion/programming of AICDs and temporary pacemaker placements. Familiarity with structural heart procedures, including TAVR and coil embolization, is beneficial. Candidates must maintain a sterile field during procedures and be skilled in the use of relevant medical technologies. Daily tasks may include performing EKG lead placement and providing accurate baseline measurements. Candidates must possess good communication skills for interacting with patients and interdisciplinary teams. Clinical charting is performed using Cerner. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility in floating to various units based on the needs of the facility. Availability to work weekends and respond to on-call requirements is essential.
