Welder Job
We are seeking skilled welders to join our fabrication team. You will be responsible for welding steel components for custom projects in the energy, railroad, and simulation industries. The role includes MIG and TIG welding, working alongside fitters who use 3D models to position and tack parts.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on carbon steel components.
- Execute TIG welds as needed on specialized parts.
- Collaborate with fitters to ensure accurate placement and structural integrity.
- Inspect welds for quality and consistency.
- Maintain safety standards and cleanliness in the work area.
Essential Skills
- MIG Welding (Carbon Steel): Ability to run clean, consistent beads; visual inspection will be part of the weld test.
- TIG Welding: Experience with TIG on various metals is a plus.
- Structural Welding: Familiarity with welding on large steel components.
- Safety & Quality Awareness: Understanding of welding safety standards and quality control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with fitting or reading 3D models (preferred).
- Ability to pass a visual weld test using MIG on carbon steel.
- Familiarity with overhead cranes, grinders, and fabrication tools.
- AWS certification (a plus but not required).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.

Work Environment
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 5am to 3:30pm, with overtime on Fridays. Industrial fabrication shop with large steel structures. Team-based workflow where fitters tack based on 3D models and welders follow with MIG/TIG. Safety-first culture with modern equipment and tools. Fast-paced, project-driven atmosphere.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
